THE COLLABORATION between Marvel and Sony resulted in a string of successful Spider-Man films.
Following the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Morbius, the clairvoyant Madame Web is another character getting the big-screen treatment.
When is Madame Web's release date and how can I watch?
Almost 40 years after the character's debut in Marvel Comics, the development of a Madame Web movie was officially announced in September 2019.
Filming and production began in July 2022 and are anticipated to conclude months later in October. The team rescheduled the release date on three separate occasions.
Previously, the motion picture was slated for distribution on July 7, 2023, but then it was moved to October 6, 2023.
Audiences can catch Madame Web in theaters and IMAX on February 16, 2024.

Who is in the cast?
Dakota Johnson was the first actress attached to the cinematic project.
While Dakota signed on to play the titular character, viewers are familiar with the star for her roles in The Social Network, The Lost Daughter, and Fifty Shades of Grey.
Regarding her turn as Madame Web, she told ET: "I can't tell you pretty much nothing that isn't already on the internet.
"It's pretty cool to be in the Marvel world, especially with a character that's not so known.

"There's a lot of space for us to make her very cool, and I'm so excited."
She shared: "It's always been a dream of mine to do some kind of massive action movie.
"I always wanted to do, like, a female Indiana Jones. There's something about those movies that you're like, 'Wow, a real human being can do that!'"
Joining Dakota in Sony and Marvel's ninth team-up is Euphoria star, Sydney Sweeney.
Dakota said of Sydney's casting: "I'm so excited. I really like her and I like her work.
"I met her recently, she's so lovely and sweet. I like working with nice and talented people."
Although fans recognize Sydney from The Handmaid's Tale and The White Lotus, Marvel sleuths have theorized that the actress could be playing Julia Carpenter aka Spider-Woman.
Emma Roberts is also among the roster of actors attached to the film.
During an interview with ET, the American Horror Story star echoed similar sentiments to Dakota's and stated: "I have to say, I was so excited to get to join the cast.
"I love Dakota Johnson. I love Sydney Sweeney. It's a really, really unique cast and story, so I'm really excited. It's been really fun to work with everyone.
