Printers

Electronic device that accepts text files or images from a computer and transfers them to a medium such as paper or film. It can be connected directly to the computer or indirectly via a network. Printers are classified as impact printers (in which the  print medium is physically struck) and non-impact printers. 

Most impact printers are dot-matrix printers, which have a number of pins on the print head that emerge to form a character. Non-impact printers fall into three main categories: laser printers use a laser beam to attract toner to an area of the paper; ink-jet printers spray a jet of liquid ink; and thermal printers transfer wax-based  ink or use heated pins to directly imprint an image on specially treated paper. Important printer characteristics include resolution (in dots per inch), speed (in sheets of paper printed per minute), color (full-color or black-and-white), and  cache memory (which affects the speed at which a file can be printed). Inkjet Printer

Inkjet printers are a category of printers in which printing is done with the help of inkjet technology. The technology works by spraying ionized ink directed by magnetic plates onto the paper, which is fed through the printer. As inkjet printers are more affordable than other types of printers, they are commonly used as home and business printers. Inkjet printers are also known simply as inkjets.

Ink Tank Printer

Laser Printer

A laser printer is a type of photocopier machine that uses laser light and toner to print a document. A laser printer uses a selenium-coated drum which uses electrical charges for printing purposes. The laser light makes print by mixing electrical charges and toner. After printing is complete the electrical charges and extra toner are removed from the page.

Laser printers use new technology to print and are faster in performance than inkjet printers. There are many types of laser printers including personal and commercial used printers. If you want to print a large amount of printing then laser printers are economical. Inkjet printers are preferred for color printing. And for text printing laser printers are the best choice.

The laser printer has one advantage the toner does not become dry as we see in an inkjet printer. In an inkjet printer, the color cartridge becomes dry after 10-15 days.
