A new promotional video for Martial Universe Season 3 has been unveiled which features Dahuang County, the latest setting where the story will take place in its world as we follow the continuation of Lin Dong’s journey as a cultivator and symbol master.

Many fans had been anxiously waiting for new updates about Martial Universe Season 3 since it’s been 2 years since its previous season has ended and the announcement of Tencent that the donghua is coming back for another season. However, 2021 ended with no news about it aside from the confirmation of Tencent Video Animation that it is still in production and had been listed as part of their upcoming Chinese anime lineup for 2022 and 2023.
What we know so far about Martial Universe Season 3 is that it had a studio change. Motion Magic is no longer animating the series, and DC Impression Vision took over the series. Therefore, we can expect some changes in the quality of the animation but hopefully, it’ll only get better. Nonetheless, the Weibo page of Martial Universe had been quite active this 2022 upon releasing the latest trailer for the 3rd season on February 20, 2022.
Furthermore, a concept character PV for the Mu Qianqian has been unveiled afterward, along with a concept PV showing the new appearance of Lin Dong and buddies – Lord Marten and the Fire Python Tiger Lin Yan.
The donghua was adapted from the Wu Dong Qian Kun (Martial Universe) novel by Heavenly Silkworm Potato and one of his trilogy series which also includes Battle Through The Heavens and The Great Ruler. The first 2 seasons of the donghua were animated by Motion Magic and were released in 2019 and 2020 respectively on Tencent Video.
The story follows Lin Dong as he tries to reach the peak of cultivation and reclaim the honor of his family and clan which was stripped by the main branch of the Lin Family after his father was humiliated.

With all of these new updates, we can only expect that the Martial Universe Season 3 release will be announced soon. So, while waiting about it, fans might want to rewatch the first 2 seasons of Martial Universe to refresh their memories of all the events that took place in the donghua adaptation so far.
