I needed to double up on some fans and this Y adapter helped me accomplish that. Construction quality was OK. I had NO problems with broken wires or loose contacts. I added spiral wrap to the cable to make up for the lack of sleeving. The one CON is that the male connector pins are exposed. The male connectors on this cable are not shrouded as they are on other manufacturer's Y cables costing the same or less.
I would recommend this product.

This little splitter is all I needed. I have a few case fans for my mATX build but only 2 fan plugs on the mobo. Sure, I could have added more wires and plugged in a molex adapter from my modular PSU, but that would add chaos and look bad.

This little splitter did the trick. I actually had another splitter already, but this one is about 2x as long so I needed it. I tied it down with the 2 fan wires leading from it and they both spin up fine. I would recommend if you need to run 2 fans from 1 plug.

Pro - This product does what I need which is to provide power to two computer fans from one power source to improve air flow over my RV refrigerator evaporator.
Con - The male pins are exposed as illustrated. My concern with this design is that when disconnected or while changing fans the contacts could come in contact with other components and if power is present short circuit.
I expect that I will likely replace this item sometime in the future for one that has the male pins better protected.
