Maintenance method of antenna

After the satellite antenna debugging is completed, the azimuth and elevation angles of the satellite antenna remain basically unchanged when receiving a certain TV signal. In order to eliminate the influence of satellite drift, the antenna can be fine-tuned periodically or irregularly according to the actual receiving effect, so that it can always be in the best receiving state. In order to prevent the satellite antenna from being struck by lightning, lightning rods should be installed above the antenna, the base and the antenna should be grounded reliably together when pouring the base, and the grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms. Before the thunderstorm season comes, it is necessary to carefully check whether the lightning protection grounding system is good or not. The wire feeder from outdoor satellite high frequency head to indoor satellite receiver should be through metal pipeline, the shielding network of metal pipeline and cable feeder should be grounded reliably, and the outdoor grounding wire of satellite TV antenna should not be shared with the grounding wire of indoor satellite receiver, modulator, amplifier, etc., but should be grounded separately. Antenna feed surface film should not be damaged. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in time. No water, gas, droplets or foreign bodies are allowed in the feed. In winter, if there is snow and ice on the feed and reflection surface, measures should be taken to remove them in time to ensure the normal electrical performance. The connection between the high frequency head and the feeder is exposed all the year round. It is suitable to use GSB sealant or epoxy resin sealant. In typhoon areas, special attention should be paid to the safety of antenna. When necessary, the antenna should be pitched to 90 degrees, that is, the antenna aperture should be upward, and the antenna should be tightened and fixed with wire rope around to reduce wind pressure load and prevent antenna damage. Generally, the antenna should be repainted once every two years or so. In areas with bad weather conditions, the period of painting can also be shortened, based on the principle that the paint does not peel off. Lubricating oil should be regularly applied to the active fulcrum, bearing and screw of the antenna transmission system. The protective cover of the azimuth and pitch screw should not be damaged so as to be able to adjust freely when replacing or receiving other satellite signals.
