2021 Ford F-150 V8 4×4 by ROUSH – the Raptor Alternative?

ROUSH Performance announces their off-road performance versions of the new 2021 Ford F-150. The ROUSH F-150 starts as either a new F-150 XLT (302A) or Lariat (502A) crew cab 4×4 with a 5.0-liter V8. The ROUSH team makes their modifications to the suspension, wheels/tires, and the appearance of the truck to make it stand out. Here is everything you get with this package.

The ROUSH F-150 comes with a 2.0 Performance Series Suspension System with a 2-inch front leveling kit for improved ground clearance and a level look. The truck is riding on 20-inch satin gray unique ROUSH wheels wrapped in 33-inch General Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires. The truck has a bit of resemblance to the factory Ford Raptor with a special ROUSH grille and wider fender flares with marker lights. This truck is about 2.8 inches wider than a standard F-150.

On the inside, there are serialized badges, ROUSH floor liners, ROUSH pedals (late availability) and a ROUSH Gauge Cluster (XLT only).

As far as engine performance is concerned, the new 2021 5.0-liter V8 is now rated at 400 horsepower from the factory. ROUSH adds a performance exhaust system, with optional dual exhaust tips. ROUSH is also working on a supercharger for this latest V8 that also includes cylinder deactivation from the factory. They do not have the timing for the supercharger availability, but they say it’s coming.

The base 2021 ROUSH F-150 package is available in one of six colors and has a starting price of $16,745. Several additional options are available. Supercharged V8 pricing is not yet available.

Just for reference, a 2021 F-150 crew cab 4×4 V8 XLT 302A truck starts at around $52,000 before incentives. A similarly equipped Lariat 502A starts at just below $60,000 before incentives.

The 2021 F-150 by ROUSH joins their latest lineup of Ford trucks. ROUSH also offers performance packages for the Ford Super Duty and the Ford Ranger.
